About Us - Southern Georgian Bay Jewish Community
Our Story
The Southern Georgian Bay Jewish Community was borne of a need for connection and support after the atrocities of October 7th 2023 and rising antisemitism. It was the hope of Rashell and Dr. Michael Feldman to foster the creation of a sustainable and thriving Jewish community that would increase awareness and enrich the Jewish experience for families living in Collingwood and the Georgian Triangle.

Rooted in an ancient history and guided by righteousness we shall flourish from a place of wisdom, inclusivity and engagement. Let us protect and enhance the well-being of the members of our community, knowing that Jewish life is best lived growing together.
Vision
To advance and promote an exceptional quality of Jewish life here in the Southern Georgian Bay Area. Through the engagement of our community, we shall develop the branches from which all else will be possible. Our focus will be to educate, advocate, connect and celebrate together.
