A Southern Georgian Bay Jewish Community initiative in collaboration with local charities.
Rooted in the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam—the responsibility to repair and improve our world—the "Be The Light" campaign is a Southern Georgian Bay Jewish Community initiative connecting neighbors with local charities doing meaningful work across Collingwood, The Blue Mountains, Wasaga Beach, and surrounding areas.
Community Partnership
We've partnered directly with these organizations because we want to make it easier for people to find where their time, skills, or support can make the biggest difference. By raising awareness of local needs and helping match people with the right cause for them, we're building bridges between those who want to help and those doing the work every day.

Mobile Soup Kitchen
Mobile Soup Kitchen fights hunger by bringing fresh, nutritious meals and community support directly to those in need locally.

Home Horizon
Home Horizon creates a community where youth who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness are supported and empowered with the resources and skills to transition into adulthood. As a community, we break the cycle of youth homelessness with hope, safety, and growth.
Common Thread Thrift Store
Common Thread Collingwood Thrift Store sells donated clothing to raise funds and support My Friend's House, our local women & children's shelter.
Hospice Georgian Triangle
Hospice Georgian Triangle provides compassionate care at Campbell House and in the community for individuals with life-limiting illness or in their last stages of life in the Town of the Blue Mountains, Collingwood, Clearview Township and Wasaga Beach.
